Step by Step Process
Photo-bashing images together, a reference is rapidly ideated. The overall design within the scene emerges, yet the shape language can be pushed much further. For this assignment, my goal was to establish a shape language that dominates the overall design.
The result is a minimalist, shape-based design. Drawing inspiration from Mary Blair, gouache brushes are used to further establish a sense of voice and character within the scene.
